Does it have arch support?
Feltfoot shoes are built on a flat, zero-drop barefoot sole, so your feet can move the way nature intended. Instead of the stiff arch inserts found in traditional footwear, the sole provides light arch comfort and stability: support where it matters, while your foot muscles gradually get stronger.
What is the width size of the shoes?
Every Feltfoot model has an extra-roomy toe box, giving your toes the freedom to spread out. This reduces pressure points and suits a wide range of foot shapes.
Do I have to wear socks with them?
That's entirely up to you: they're comfortable with or without socks. For the grounding effect, go barefoot or choose thin socks made from natural fibres.
What materials are used - especially for the grounding feature?
Upper materials depend on the model: breathable mesh, hard-wearing leather or water-resistant synthetics.
Grounding works through a copper plug built into the sole. Copper is highly conductive, creating contact between your body and the ground when you walk directly on natural surfaces.
Where are the shoes made?
Feltfoot shoes are produced by manufacturers in Asia who specialise in barefoot footwear. Each model is developed together with shoe designers, podiatrists and grounding specialists based in Europe, to meet high standards of quality and performance.
Are these good for people with Plantar Fasciitis?
Many of our customers living with plantar fasciitis tell us they feel better thanks to the natural shape, the roomy toe box and the zero-drop sole. Every situation is different, though, so please ask a healthcare professional for advice that suits you.
Are these recommended for flat feet?
Yes. People with flat feet often benefit from barefoot shoes, as they encourage the foot to build strength naturally. If you need extra support, you can always add an insole.
What's the shipping timeframe?

Can I use my own insoles?
Yes, you can swap in your own insoles. Keep in mind that the original Feltfoot insoles are designed to work hand in hand with the barefoot sole and the grounding system.
